HOLT CAT is proud to announce the completion of our first class of HOLT Ready Technicians!
HOLT Ready Tech is an extensive program that includes both on-the-job training and classroom instruction. It’s designed to provide entry level training to full-time employees of HOLT CAT, allowing them to obtain the skills necessary to enter the workforce as a Level 1 technician.
The class had 12 students each receiving training on:
- Safety
- Technician basics
- Preventative maintenance
- Electrical fundamentals
- Hydraulic fundamentals
- AC fundamentals
- Diesel engine fundamentals
- Power train fundamentals
In addition to having instructors and service managers available to provide training, each participant in the class is paired with a mentor that will guide them through their time in the HOLT Ready Tech program.
